In 1972, Outpost Sunsport started as a small backpacking and mountaineering store in Fort Collins and has gone through many changes over the years. Outpost Sunsport became a specialty downhill ski shop in 1983 and added snowboarding in an ever growing category in 1985. We pride ourselves in creating one of the finest specialty ski and snowboard shops in the Rocky Mountains. We are always searching for the next great product to help all of us enjoy our passions.
Although the product mix has changed over the years, many things have stayed the same: providing excellent customer service to our wonderful customers and trying to make a difference in Northern Colorado and Fort Collins. We are proud to support Poudre School district, Colorado State University, Poudre Hospital Foundation, Foothills Gateway, Respite Care and many other worthy organizations in the area. As a locally-owned and operated store, it is our goal to give back as much as we can to the community that has been so good to us.
